?Another great opportunity via Dobson Welch to work with a slowly growing but well-established womenswear soft separates supplier in East London as a Production Manager – managing a small team of 3 you will be very much involved in managing the critical path in production and dealing with fabric suppliers and factories in Romania, Bulgaria, Burma, Vietnam, India, and China. You will be planning and monitoring production schedules and altering them, when necessary, on the Critical Path

As the Production Manager, you will be working with in-house design and sales teams and quality control departments

Managing orders from retail customers, production planning, sealing of garments, trimming purchasing, garment allocation, price negotiating, monitoring deliveries. Co-ordinating containers

Meetings with the customers to present the new collections, confirm orders, samples review, etc.

Placing all customer orders with overseas suppliers.

Managing the factories, negotiating prices, and ensuring they have all information to start production and deliver on time.

Persistent monitoring of progress and production schedule.

Coordinated the team to meet deadlines.

MUST-HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED

3-4 years recent experience as Production Manager with a womenswear high street supplier

A sound knowledge of fabric testing price negotiating, critical path management, team management

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Excellent command of MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel) and computer literate

Able to work under pressure and understand deadlines.
