Production conditions:

①Build in areas with starch or molasses resources. Starch can be corn, cassava, potato, sweet potato, and other resources. The molasses can be either cane molasses or beet molasses.

②A place where energy is relatively cheap. It is best to have a thermal power station, which can reduce investment and is cheap, where hydropower is abundant, or a coal-producing area. Because building an active yeast factory with an annual output of 2,000 tons requires about one 1,000KVA transformer and one 8-ton boiler.

③ Regional distribution is best in the northwest or southwest region. At present, yeast factories are mainly concentrated in the southeast coast, with energy shortage and high cost. Development to the northwest and southwest can promote the deep processing of local agriculture and food industry. There is a broad market space in the southwest and northwest.

④Appropriate scale: It is advisable to build a scale with an annual output of 2,000 tons at the initial stage of construction, and then expand after stabilization. The investment for a scale of 2,000 tons is about 30 million yuan, excluding technology transfer fees. It covers an area of about 20 mu, with a construction area of about 7000m2.

⑤Environmental protection: Waste water can be used to irrigate farmland, and can also be discharged after biochemical treatment.
