The use of modular nodes in industrial computers promotes adaptable, specialized, and reliable computing solutions that are not only designed to meet the demands of industrial environments, but also support additional capabilities and changes as the industrial Edge AI industry continues to grow.
Designed to retrofit as a bottom node for Premio Inc. rugged, fanless RCO-6000 Series, the EDGEBoost modular add-on nodes from Premio support the building and maintenance of these systems by providing scalability, interoperability, flexibility, and customization, as well as the ability to upgrade with ease with support for programmable software API.
New Series - Engineering Hero: Writing Code Surrounded by Bombs
Writing firmware for a state-of-the-art embedded system is no easy task. Now imagine trying to accomplish that task with bombs going off in your country, and not knowing where the next one will hit. That’s the predicament Valentyn Hlukhotskyy finds himself, as he writes code while residing in Ukraine. That alone would make Valentyn an Engineering Hero, but there’s more. Watch now.
Vishay is Powering Up Your Server Room
威世 Intertechnology introduced a 650 V E Series power MOSFET, the Siliconix n-channel SiHP054N65E delivering a solution to improve efficacy and power density enhancements in the two initial points of a power system architecture (power factor correction (PFC) and subsequent DC/DC converter blocks). According to Vishay, its SiHP054N65E slashes on-resistance by 48.2 % while offering a 59 % lower resistance times gate charge, a key figure of merit (FOM) for 650 V MOSFETs used in power conversion applications.
