No matter the career you’re pursuing always have a goal written down, that will be your driving force.- Victoria Oladosu
???????Hi, my name is Victoria Oladosu
I’ve been a PM for almost 4 years now, I currently work at PlacidCode Labs
I’d say 5. I love it so much because it is Fulfilling, Daring, Nerve-racking
My job as a PM and founder is fulfilling, that feeling you get when you know this is exactly where you want to be and I am fulfilling my purpose by doing exactly what I was born for. It is daring because it pushes me to do more all the time, I always want to be better than yesterday, and I am always out of my comfort zone.
And it is nerve-racking because it’s not an easy job as you must know. I always have a million things I’m doing, my brain is always on the clock?

I believe it translates to 90% of tech fields, and it also depends on your level of experience and expertise. You earn more as you progress in the journey
I’m still trying to find out, for now, I love everything about being a PM
Yes, I will, if at all I want to switch professions, I’d rather explore other areas in product management like Data PM(like I’m currently doing), Growth PM, etc.
I think this is something inbuilt or something I have learned over time. I simply plan and prioritize. Once I have all activities planned out, I prioritize the most tasks and do them one at a time. Some tools can help like the notes & reminders app on your phone or simple project management tools like Notion and Trello
The best thing for them to do is 1. Find a mentor 2. Join a tech community 3. Work on projects with friends or members from that community with the same goal as theirs
The first thing is to have a career goal, no matter the career you’re pursuing always have a goal written down, that will be your driving force. It can take you a moment to discover it but if you have a keen interest in building your career, you will find it.
Stay focused, build your expertise, build your networks, never doubt your capabilities, never stop learning and always celebrate yourself.
Researching, watching movies, traveling.
I am so grateful for your time Victoria Oladosu it means a lot to me and my audience. I hope someone reading this will be prepared for what is to come. Thank you!
