Product Review for Salesforce CRM
What do you like best?
Salesforce is the leading CRM out there because it continues to try and make itself better with quarterly releases. The fact that it also allows for apps to be put on the AppExchange for users to take advantage of is a dream for admins and developers.
What do you dislike?
There isn't anything to really dislike about it, aside from the pricing. Although, not only is it priced fairly when you compare it to anything close to it on the market, it also allows you to do so much customization to it. There are other tools that require you to go back to the CRM Vendor and pay them to do any work. While the monthly cost for those other tools may be less, the overall cost ends up being much higher in many cases.
What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?
Because you can fully customize it, you can go into any industry from Healthcare to Higher Ed to Financial Services and make it fit for those users. Having the ability to go in and take a tool that was initially for Sales and turn it into Intake and Triage for Healthcare, into Admissions and Faculty for Higher Ed, etc., makes all the difference. Now every industry has an amazing CRM that they can use, no matter the industry or the vertical.
For which purposes do you use the product?
As a Consultant, I use it on the backend as an Admin and a Developer. I also use it on the front end to keep track of projects, tasks and activities, and more. Adding apps from the AppExchange like DocuSign and Outlook or Gmail integration means users never have to leave the CRM. I can stay in one system all day. This saves me so much time, allowing me to accomplish more every single day.
What is your primary role when using this product?
Salesforce Consultant/Salesforce Administrator.
What is your relationship with this vendor?
I always say I am a Salesforce Nerd. I try to attend Dreamforce, World Tours and any events in my area to make sure that I stay up to date.
At which company did you most recently use this product?
I have used it at every Company in the last decade.
Are you a current user of Salesforce CRM?
Yes. And, I wouldn't have it any other way!
