Product Review for Salesforce CRM

What do you like best? The flexibility that is available within SF is unmatched in my experience. With the right Salesforce admin there is not much you can think of that cannot be accomplished within the tool

What do you dislike? That it takes an admin to accomplish some of the flexibility. The system has a steep learning curve

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized? We use SF as a full cycle customer management tool. We utilize it to manage the sales cycle, the implementation process, and after sales support. The largest benefit we see is a seamless view of our customers from all departments

For which purposes do you use the product? Sales cycle management

What is your primary role when using this product? Sr Director of Sales

What is your relationship with this vendor? 10 year user

At which company did you most recently use this product? AutoAlert

Thanks for giving us the floor Shawn!? A couple of thoughts from my perspective as a rep: * Without a doubt there's no more powerful sales tool than Salesforce * To your point, it can get unwieldy, so I think - even more than other tools - having a plan on how you're going to use it, and how you're going to scale it, dictates it's adoption and value. * Salesforce probably shouldn't be a catch-all; there plenty of things it can do, but isn't necessarily built for, and that's where integrations can be incredibly useful (e.g. Hubspot, Gong, your project management system tying in) * Not sure I would agree with the sentiment Salesforce is a sales org's "source of truth" in the sense that accurate data in Salesforce relies on consistent/accurate/timely input by reps; and a lot of us just don't have the time. Curious if any sales leaders have thoughts on the last bullet- whether you think Salesforce data is reliable enough to drive decisions, and if so, which?
