Product Review for Salesforce CRM

What do you like best?

Outlook integration. Contacts integration.

What do you dislike? Outlook integration BREAKS with EVERY update. It seems no salesperson was present during the creation of SF. Instead, it appears the result of tech-devs and the CFO for forecasting sales burdens/goals - realistic or not. It can be a great reporting tool to re-think marketing & lead-gen strategy, but is more often applied as a micromanaging tool that reduces a human being to a cold stat in an even colder algorithm: "Fire" or "Keep". Its RDBMS features are poor.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

Forecasting. Fostering sales. Pulling reports. The #1 problem it addresses is CEO "quick reports" to the BOD for sheepish finger-pointing.

For which purposes do you use the product?

Forecasting. CRM task mgmt.

What is your primary role when using this product?

Fostering sales.

What is your relationship with this vendor?

Multi-time user/victim.

At which company did you most recently use this product?

Vantiv.

Are you a current user of Salesforce CRM?

No. Hubspot. Better for Google Office.
