What do you like best?
There are a few things that work well, such as it being a good repository for documents.
What do you dislike?
Microsoft SharePoint has a lot of room for improvement, including ability to collaborate with people; there are so many modern tools that do a great job of having a context to every conversation in a project. SharePoint still treats assets and storage as the key and it does not work well across browsers and has poor experience when it comes to mobile devices
What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?
SharePoint had a dual purpose; one as a collaboration and storage tool and other as a genuine content management platform and it falls short in both areas.

We built an application using web parts on share point which was the entry point for the entire product

Cognizant
Are you a current user of Microsoft SharePoint?
