Product Review for Atlassian JIRA

What do you like best?

What I love best about this product is that it actually gives you ample ways to be able to organize your projects/tasks in a way that nothing is left behind.

What do you dislike?

I have been using this product for about 3 years or more now, and I have never encountered anything yet that makes me dislike the product. If there are updates released, those definitely helps the users utilize the tool.

What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?

Business problems where I used the product is basically with BUGS within the software we are developing. It gives you visual representation of goals versus reality on the duration of time developers get issues fixed.

For which purposes do you use the product?

I am using it solely for BUG TRACKING.

What is your primary role when using this product?

Initially, I was using it as an escalation tool for issues reported by customers when I was still with the Customer Support Department. Later, I advanced the usage of the product into BUG TRACKING purposes as I move into being in the QA LEAD role for the team. Lastly, I became more or less the JIRA manager for our remote team (altering/adding new projects, workflows, etc.)

What is your relationship with this vendor?

We are partners as I believe we are integrating with them for our time tracking software which is Time Doctor.
