What do you like best?
Adobe Illustrator is still the reigning vector illustration program. There are several less pricey options, but if you are in the industry and use the Creative Cloud they throw every Adobe product at you includinf Photoshop, which I use daily. Very intuitive and very effective for vector images, logos etc.
What do you dislike?
I have one huge issue. There seems to a be stickiness when working with Apple keyboard commands and/or Wacom products. You select and image in Ai utilizing a keyboard command and the cursor won't let go of the image or reset until you hammer on the space bar a few times. Of course every company blames the other, if they acknowledge it at all. No idea how I figured out the workaround, but I have been using Ai for 26 years.
What business problems are you solving? What benefits have you realized?
Fast scalable graphics for clients who need vector art for a variety of applications. A lot of clients either cannot find or don't have their logo and associated images in vector.
For which purposes do you use the product?
Creating vector graphics for logos and animation.

Let Me Design Your Success
7 年Ai is my favorite Adobe product. I love it because it's vector based, yet you can use pixel imagery also. The idea Of visually seeing your art board and moving the components anywhere on the art board. Then having layers on top of that that can be single, or grouped or have different rules applied to them. Visually it's like having a desk with your project sitting on it. Then making a book or stack of ideas that can be manipulated, in any imaginable way. It's the best!

7 年Adobe rarely breaks their solutions with updates. AI has been rock solid for as long as I can remember.
