Product Manager Interview Training Question #25

As part of the 4 week training where I train Product Managers to prepare for their interviews, one of the common questions that get asked is "What is your favorite product and why ?" along with a follow on of "How would you improve it?"

The goal of this question is to really understand how do you think about products in general as well as your skills to improve this product further. Its very common to talk about the negative elements of the product whether its UI, UX or features but its difficult to put a product manager hat on and further improve the product.

So next time, when you talk about a product you absolutely love, also think about how would you improve it further and base your response even with a business case.
