Product Launch: Lesson learnt in Life and Product Building

I have worked on AI, ML, Data Science; Built Product platform and owned Tech. Recent launch of one of the key feature "Offer & Rewards" on our Angel One App marked a significant milestone, not just for the product itself, but also for my personal growth. Taking a product from scratch, through user research, market analysis, architecture design, tech solutions, and finally, design, has been an incredible learning experience. It's taught me valuable lessons not just about product building, but also about life itself

Key Takeways:

  1. Planning is Crucial: A well-defined architecture diagram serves as a blueprint for the product. Likewise, having a clear plan with defined goals provides direction and focus in life.
  2. Tech is a Tool: While technology is a powerful enabler, it's the solution that matters, not the tools used to build it. Similarly, focus on the "why" behind your actions, not just the methods employed.
  3. Design Matters: Every detail, from button placement to visual hierarchy, impacts user experience. This translates to daily life, where paying attention to small details can significantly improve communication and interactions.
  4. Embrace Iteration: Products, like life, are rarely perfect from the start. Continuous learning, adaptation, and improvement are essential for success.
  5. Passion is the Fuel: A genuine passion for the product keeps you going through the inevitable ups and downs. Similarly, having a strong sense of purpose fuels your journey through life's challenges.

It has been a rewarding journey, filled with invaluable lessons that extend far beyond the realm of product development. By applying these learnings to daily life, we can navigate challenges with greater clarity, build stronger relationships, and ultimately, live more fulfilling lives.
