Since announcing the 2022 ProcureTech100 on the 22nd November, the pioneers?have filled our social feeds.? Thoma Bravo acquired Coupa Software for $8 billion;? The Smart Cube was acquired by WNS ; and companies like? Pactum AI , Terzo and? Zylo ?secured big rounds of funding.?

The 2022 Social Impact and Source to Pay ProcureTech100 pioneers step into the limelight, comprised of sustainable solutions deploying new blockchain and social tech, and source to contract and P2P solutions.

Looking back into Procurement's glass ball: whose 2022 Predictions were fairest of them all?

We reflect on the top 10 Predictions for 2022 from the 2021 ProcureTech100 and see if their glass ball visions were true.

At the beginning of the year, we asked the 2021 ProcureTech100 for their Procurement Predictions for 2022. Now at the end of another very busy, yet triumphant year for procurement, we’re able to look at the top 10 across 4 key themes: Digitalisation; Intelligence; People, Planet & Prosperity; and Organisation.

Social Impact - 2022 ProcureTech100 pioneers

Blockchain. Marketplaces. Carbon accounting. Sustainability management.

The Social Impact category includes sustainable procurement solutions deploying new blockchain and social technologies, alternative business models and marketplaces. Many solutions are pushing the procurement agenda on carbon accounting and offsetting, enterprise sustainability management, supply chain traceability, transparency and reporting, and sustainability assessment.

Source to Pay - 2022 ProcureTech100 pioneers

Suites. P2P. Sourcing. Maturity.

The Source to Pay category is defined by solutions that provide source to contract and purchase to pay solutions, and frequently additional modules including analytics and supplier management. There is slow overall growth and introduction of innovation. Finance/Pay solutions are pushing into the S2P space with B2B payments, and ERP solutions offering S2P capabilities too.
