Process Template Example

Process Template Example

Today's topic is information analysis, automation modeling, and information sharing.

BIM data created using various BIM tools are delivered to the engineering team at the construction stage through IFC. The first step you need to do is analyze the data. The engineer needs to make sure that the data is well-formed and contains the necessary information. Second, he/she needs to use the data that has been passed over in this way to proceed with the next step, detail modeling for production. Lastly, he/she needs to exchange discussions with the design team by organizing the contents of the last problematic part.

In this example, using the wall information, check the detail template stored in the library in advance, and if the template does not exist, red color, if it exists, but the design model is incorrect(In this case, thickness), orange color, and if both are satisfied, a green color I used it to create automation that helps users' visibility.

After that, if the detail template exists and the design model is valid, you can create the detailed model by running Automation which automatically inserts the detail.

Also, for incomplete data or walls that do not exist in the detail library, I exported images and comment to PPT (Presentation) so that a report could be created.

Likewise, if you create your own (company) process in terms of information management by using automation, you can apply it to all projects. In other words, it can be said that the asset of the process becomes possible.
