Processes have to be improved before results can happen. This is a management responsibility. To many times we want to focus on what the employee is doing wrong and not fix problems.
A process-oriented approach must be applies in order to correct problems. We all know this as a PDCA. Many improvement opportunities fail because of the wrong focus. Kaizen focus have failed many times because of lack of focus to the process. Many western cultures want to have meetings, discussions, and disipline to get a result......This method wont work.
PDCA/SDCA coupled with a disiplined root cause analysis can fix problems very quickly.....if you are struggling with this, please give me a call. I promise it will provide a result that you and your employees will reciate.
