Process Consultant Tryst with ServiceNow
First time I came to know about ServiceNow was way back in 2014 and it was "Dublin" version we were trying to implement for a customer. Back then like most of my fellow Process Consultants was under impression that its just another ITSM tool. At that time BMC remedy had most of the market captured, but HPSD, Jira also coexisted in the same space.?
Next version that came after that was "Eureka" and truly it was the Eureka moment ;-) for Industry about the potential of the ServiceNow. It was Process Consultants back then who was CHAMPION of promoting the tool not only from selling side but also from Implementation and design scope. For most of us "Process come First and tool follows" was the approach and we were able to convince customer with lot of ease reason to go for ServiceNow.?

Fun Fact : As the years went by my commitment for ServiceNow became stronger. I might have not travelled the World but ServiceNow introduced me to new place with each releases. If it would not be for ServiceNow "Kingston" release I would till now would have considered Kingston to be as pendrive making company :-).
Today Roles have got diversed techno-functional, Business Analyst, function consultant etc etc etc but most of most the season professional in these roles have Process Consulting Background.?
Complete credits to ServiceNow for opening multiple opportunities, moving with speed, aligning with Business and Today we can easily say that Service Now is "Just a Ticketing" tool but have become Enterprise Application instead.?
Also I am also rooting and hoping for another Process Tool to compete at same level with ServiceNow. If this happens it takes away the Monopoly that ServiceNow has and also the number of opportunities that competition would bring along could only be imagined .. :-)
