Process-bility - One Click design for simplicity

Process-bility - One Click design for simplicity

With Process-bility, we just need one click to define the Task Type.

Step 1: Move your cursor to the top left area of the Task box (Task/Activity Notation)

The system shows the Task Type activated (Green Zone)

Step 2: Stay in the Green Zone for > 1/2 second

The system displays the Task Type available

Step 3: Move your cursor to select the Task Type available

Step 3: Click to select the Task Type

This is Process-bility in Action!

This is a very interesting topic and thank you for sharing. It is amazing how many tools are out there and yet may not meet all the business requirements. I understand how important business process mapping is in the business analysis word too, hence I even talk about it in my book The Art of Getting Business Analysis Right - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B0C12B6DQ5/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=

Please let me know how many clicks required to define the Task Type with your favorite BPM tool?

Kevin Tan you do know that this is already out there? Eg. Miro has BPMN shapes that you can add whatever type you want to it with a click. Not just Activity type but also sub process or not and sequential, adhoc etc. All with a hover menu. It does this for all objects gateways etc. Process mapping technology is far far ahead of this. With AI you can type a prompt and it will generate a starting process map for you. This is a newer feature. Problem is most people don't realise that mapping no longer belongs to MS Visio. It's out there and there are already much better options. It started with draw.io but now all the canvas type software has something capable. I use Miro because they're making the biggest advancements into the mapping space. Do yourself a favour and go watch the latest keynote.

Do the objects exist anywhere other than the canvas? Visio has several methods for interacting with data sheets to manage eg updating the name "Aurion" to "HRIS" (Human Resources Information System)
