Problems of COVID-19 and TRIZ
Issue 2
Today we will touch upon the social and economic problems that arose with the advent of the coronavirus.
Problem 1. Market
Problem condition
Due to the danger of the spread of coronavirus, markets in Israel have closed. Immediately there were problems with citizens buying food in the market and from sellers.
Typically, the market sells the freshest food and the products are cheaper on the market than in the store.
Sellers lose the opportunity to earn money and, moreover, they already have products that will disappear and they will incur losses.
What’s to be done?
Superficial contradiction (SC)
SC: Sellers lose the opportunity to make money.
Conflicting requirements (CR)
CR: Closing the market prevents the spread of the virus, but does deprive sellers of earnings.
Ideal Final Result (IFR)
IFR: Closing the market prevents the spread of the virus, and does not deprive sellers of earnings.
Contradiction of properties (CP)
CP: The market should be closed to prevent the spread of the virus and should be open so as not to deprive sellers of earnings.
It can be summarized as follows:
The market must be closed and open.
Solution
Resolution of conflicting properties in the structure.
Sellers began to take orders on the Internet and bring products to their homes. At the same time, sellers not only increased their turnover and thus profits, but also attracted more people who delivered food, thereby giving people income.
Thus, resources[1] were also used.
