Problem Solving with A3 - Probleme l?sen mit A3

Pretty much the dumbest thing I've heard on the subject of leadership is:?

"There are no problems, only solutions".?

Of course there are problems - even those that can't be solved.

For the solvable problems, however, there are ways.?

This week's live event was about the A3 methodology, a method developed by Toyota for working together as a team to bring complex problems to a lasting solution.?

The charm of A3 is that everything fits on one page (in A3 format, hence the name), so you can keep track of everything. Everything has been thought of: the clear definition of the problem, the people important to the solution, the underlying causes, the economic aspect, the solution itself and its sustainable implementation.

In the coming weeks, I'll delve into key aspects of A3. Next week, it will be about root cause analysis, especially the "5 Warums" and the so-called "Fishbone Analysis".

Der Charme von A3 ist, dass alles auf eine Seite (im DIN A3-Format, daher der Name) passt und man so den überblick beh?lt. Dabei ist an alles gedacht: die klare Definition des Problems, die zur L?sung wichtigen Personen, die tieferliegenden Ursachen, der wirtschaftliche Aspekt, die L?sung selbst und ihre nachhaltige Implementierung.

In den kommenden Wochen werde ich wesentliche Aspekte von A3 vertiefen. N?chste Woche geht es um die Ursachenforschung, insbesondere um die "5 Warums" und die sogenannte "Fishbone Analysis".
