Part-2: (continuing from part 1 of 27-2-2024)
Hello! Welcome back to part II, of this topic...
What is the difference between “ Role” location and “Self-location”?
1.??? Role is a relative location -? Self is an independent location
2.??? Role is always connected to another role /entity (husband to wife, Reportee to Manager, Teacher to a student) – Self is a free, un-dependent existence
3.??? Role carries norms, expectations, capabilities, and dependency...plusmore – Self has no such baggage. It is the same entity “spirit” in all the people
4.??? Role is a dependent entity hence carries expectations, burdens, norms, capabilities etc – Self is? “primal intelligence”, “the un-defined causative factor” hence has no “weight to carry. It is naked, and light.
5.??? Ideally inter dependent roles are also “counter point roles” eg :
Husband ( male) wife ( female); Teacher ( who knows) student ( One who has to learn & know). The nature of the Self is the same in all beings human.
Hence equalizing as “self”, being human is an independent,? deeper and wider choice simply because it is un-imaginably larger than the “limited/ dependent” role.
So, do you wish to be with the “limited” role in solving the problem or will you CHOOSE TO BE? the “un-limited self-awareness” in dealing with the other human?
Reflect further, and we shall come to the “How” question, in our part3 on this topic!

1 年Wow! Loved the simplicity you have brought into the explanation Raja Krishnamoorthy Sir. Now, it is clear that how I get rolled into many 'roles' covering up the Self in so many layers! So, the learned Masters say that finding Self is akin to peeling the layers of onion! ??
