The problem of train WIFI ?

It's been a minute.
I am 'trying' to write and publish this weekly update from the train.?
It's my regular route cross-country from Manchester to Oxford having spent two days with a client.
It's a great route.
Direct.
Fast.
Reasonably priced, if you book early.
And Seatfrog upgrades to 1st class?are as cheap as £11.?
Winning.
But wow, the WIFI signal is AWFUL.?
Literally a three hour black spot.
I like train time and I like to catch up on emails, messages and notes that need actioning.
But you can't do a thing.
Even sending a WhatsApp message is a 45 minute struggle.
If someone could crack the nut of wifi blackspots, well - they'd have a multi million quid company on their hands.
The reason for highlighting this?
I teach businesses to go back to brand basics.
To remind themselves what they do, who for - and crucially, what problem they solve.
So what problem is it that you solve for your customer?
?? And from there: How do you solve it better than anyone else?
?? In what situations does that problem arise?
?? What makes people feel good about solving that problem with you?
It will be a Friday miracle if this reaches you.
Enjoy the sun, rain, storms, wind, fog, humidity....it could be any or all at the moment.
Until I see you out there,
Catherine.

3 个月Ha - I was literally describing this issue not 5 minutes ago! I don't need faster trains, I need trains where I can log on and remote work. So frustrating
