Welcome to my August newsletter.

Can we all just gloss over that this newsletter seems to have become two-monthly, rather than monthly? Thanks, I appreciate it. BUT I’m back and I’ve got a flurry of fun updates and helpful info!

Firstly, I’d like to say a massive thank you to the incredible Rosie Parsons photography sensation, for all the fabulous new headshots and posey pics she captured of me. I am horrifically awkward on camera, but Rosie captured the real me in these images, and made me feel like a princess with a makeup artist and a feast fit for a QUEEN at her beautiful studio in Exeter. You may have noticed I popped off for a long-overdue holiday with my son last month. And, while I couldn’t completely abandon work (yes, I love it that much), we did have some fabulous adventures, met up with lots of LinkedIn friends, and did some serious maxin’ relaxin’. I bounced back into work full of beans (and freshly caught fish, rice, noodles… #BaliLife ). I hope you’ve managed to get away from work and enjoy some summer fun!

The first is Lawscape: Effecting the Evolution , hosted by notorious legal disruptor (and my superstar client) Alice Stephenson , where I will be discussing the future of marketing in the legal industry alongside some absolute powerhouses in the sector, and the second is the highly exclusive Female Founders Summit , alongside founder of The Female Founders Association; Carrie Green (OMG) and the female empowerment powerhouse Lucienne Shakir . Since I last wrote to you, we’ve hosted FOUR MORE exceptional masterclasses in my new membership community, The HoLT.?

Chris James , expert sales mindset coach, shared his insights in a hilarious and engaging masterclass, Laura Burnett (my personal automation sensation) taught everyone how to improve their productivity by automating their processes, Ian Dempsey (AKA Spuddy - don’t ask) shared his top tips for taking care of our personal finances, and Tyler Archer - Instagram sales coach - helped us to improve our discovery calls and close more sales!

Recordings as well as written summaries of all of the masterclasses are still available in The HoLT Vault for new members to watch, so keep your eyes peeled as we’ll soon be opening the doors to new members. Want to get on the email list for updates? Go here!

LinkedIn is rolling out lots of new features at the moment, including links being able to be included directly on images, pinning a comment to the top of your comment section, and audio rooms have been released across the community (more news on when I’ll be hosting some of these alongside my favourite LinkedIn experts coming soon). You can keep on top of new features by following the LinkedIn For Creators page - and I highly recommend doing so!?

EXTRA TIP

You can add a link to the top of your LinkedIn profile that contains a tempting lead magnet to start collecting those sacred email addresses of people who might need your services - and then start your own email newsletter to keep in touch! You can see my LinkedIn Cheat Sheet at the top of mine - look!?

I know the content well often runs dry so here are two ideas for new posts!

1. What’s something exciting that you’re currently working on? Why is it exciting and what is it going to mean for your business? Ask your network what they’re currently working on.?
2. What’s something that you’re not very good at that you are seeking to improve? How are you doing this? Ask your network what advice or resources they can recommend to help you.
