After the latest funding round, which included a direct investment from Canaccord Genuity, Proactive is firmly in growth mode.

We made our first acquisition recently, welcoming Vancouver-based Adnet to the family. For those who don’t know Adent, it’s a developer and designer of corporate websites for public and private companies.

The transaction has increased our global client base to over 1,500 companies supported by 100 staff in four countries.

As we continue to expand, we are on the look-out for business development, finance and operations staff in Canada, the UK, Australia and the US. We are also recruiting for posts in our editorial and broadcast teams in all those geographies.

Proactive’s chief revenue officer Simon Presswell has a number of key international roles to fill in sales.

He said: “We are looking to recruit bright and driven individuals to join a very talented team – and to help us achieve some ambitious growth aspirations.”
