With EV’s becoming more and more common in the vehicle park, the technology and terminology has changed, there is a lack of understanding for both non technical Staff and Customers.
We at Pro-Moto Europe are seeing more and more posts and complaints on Socials regarding the topic of dealerships and their lack of EV knowledge when selling Electric & Hybrid Cars, this is really disappointing to see.
We have developed a course to change that.
We have read stories about customers who have leased a vehicle and have had it literally dropped at their door and the keys thrown at them with new EV owners not even being shown how to charge their car.
"When you buy your first EV, don't be surprised if you know more about the EV you plan to purchase than the dealer knows. I'm on my 12th EV now, and the level of knowledge uncovered at the point of sale by each dealer was shockingly poor."
Pro-Moto's new course - Tech for Non-Tech - Hybrid/EVs Explained - covers all questions that prospective new Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Owners may have. It will give Non-Technical staff the confidence to engage with and sell these vehicles more effectively but also give their customers the reassurance they are dealing with the right people/business.
"A one size fits all approach is unlikely to work with EV customers because there are so many different scenarios and situations to navigate through. Every customer is different. They have different questions and different challenges to contend with."
This course is suitable for Non-Technical members of staff.
