On 27th June 2019, Insider Media will be holding their South West Dealmakers Awards dinner at the Bristol Marriott Hotel. The Awards bring together over 300 lawyers, accountants, bankers and financiers for a night of celebration. The dinner celebrates the success of dealmakers in the region over the past 12 months, recognising and rewarding the wealth of talent across its community.
This year, Great Western Air Ambulance Charity has been chosen as the beneficiary of the raffle - which means we need to find some prizes for this key group of people. The companies donating the raffle prizes will have their name and generosity in front of hundreds of senior business people from our area, as well as a thank you on social media from us. Would you or your company be willing to donate a prize for this, or any other event? In the past, donations have included bed and breakfast at local hotels, rounds of golf, signed football shirts, cases of wine and so on, so we would be very appreciative of any similar prizes you could provide. For the Dealmakers Awards we need to have finalised the prizes on offer by the 20th June.
Great Western Air Ambulance Charity provides air ambulance and critical care services for 2.1 million people across Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, Gloucestershire, South Glos, North Somerset and surrounding areas. Our crew attend the most serious incidents across the region, by helicopter or car. When we are called to a serious accident or medical emergency, our medical crew will be on their way within minutes. Our specialist paramedics and doctors bring the skills and expertise of an emergency department right to the scene. We need to raise over £3 million a year to run our lifesaving service, relying on voluntary donations to make sure that we can be there for whoever needs us, whenever they need us.
Being chosen as the charity of choice for the Dealmakers dinner is a huge opportunity for our young charity, and we need to make the most of it.
None of us know when we might need the specialist emergency care Great Western Air Ambulance Charity can provide, so we thank you for any support you can give.
If you don’t feel able to offer a suitable prize just now, then we often need smaller prizes for other raffles and events, so any donations are gratefully received.
