Calling everyone in Geneva - do go along and meet this prize winning artist on May 11th 12-1700 at Salon Vert in Carouge.
Winner of the Pollock Krasner Lifetime Achievement award and cited as being 'one of Europe's greatest living artists' the Land and Environmental artist Chris Drury has dedicated his career to working with Nature as the subject and object of his work.
He uses natural materials that he gathers in the places where he works to create sculptures and installations which are often monumental, sometimes ephemeral, and specific to the context and the site in which they are created. Through his works, he confronts environmental issues as well as the relationship between humans and the earth.
May 11th is the private view of his solo show at Salon Vert in Geneva and it runs until June 29th. https://www.salonvert.ch
