The Prize of Hard work

Like jewel in the hand

is the reward of hard work

As restful as the current of the ocean

at night

so is the soul of an hard working man

He has peace within

and without

He is an honest dealer

not a deceiver

He has measured

with the right balance

and his gain is precious

in his sight

His reward is envied

no matter how small it is

by the rich and the poor

The slothful will do anything

to have part of it

He doesn't care what went into it

before it is gotten

Despite this

the prize of hard work

still remain precious.
