The Private/ Public Partnership combating the COVID-19 Pandemic
If you would of told me a year ago that I would be writing this kind of article today ,I would of said "What are you talking about !" Sadly here we stand looking at our planet under assault by this virus. The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unique and ever changing problems to the world. One thing that this pandemic has shown is that the government by itself nor the private sector by itself can defeat this unseen enemy. There has to be a private sector and government partnership to accomplish this daunting task.
In the spirit of this private/public partnership , on June 30 2020, Federal Resources, Detectachem Inc., FLIR Systems Inc.and Blueforce Development , met with members of the Mass. Executive Office of Public safety and Security to discuss combating the COVID-19 pandemic. This meeting was to showcase new technologies to combat and defeat this scourge. Detectachem showcased their new testing equipment that has the ability to quickly and accurately identify carriers of the Corona virus , and Blueforce Development demonstrated the Elevated Temperature monitoring system for COVID detection for use in public and private institutions.
FLIR Systems gave a demonstration of their robotics and how they can be used to identify and remotely access scenes. If a contaminated scene is in encountered , a demonstration of the Victory electrostatic sprayer family utilizing ProKure chlorine dioxide how it destroys the Novel Corona Virus along with types of threats.
This demonstration of the different technologies out there ,and the exchange of ideas between the public and private sector are a force multiplier to defeat the COVID-19 Pandemic. this HAS to be an ongoing process !
