Private Jet Charters During COVID-19: What to Expect from Access Jet Group

We’re living in truly unprecedented times. COVID-19 has severely impacted traditional forms of air travel, both in terms of availability and public health and safety. Now more than ever, travelers are turning to private jet charter services like Access Jet Group to avoid the potential health risks of larger airports and crowded commercial flights.

We continue to be committed to providing a safe travel experience in every aspect of the word. Here’s an update on how we’re keeping you safe in the sky and on the ground.

Access Jet Group COVID-19 Update

When the news of the COVID-19 pandemic first emerged, our team at Access Jet Group was on the alert and continues to monitor local and national media for updates and guidance. Even before the coronavirus made its way to the US, we jumped into contingency planning mode to start making arrangements that would keep passengers and crew safe.

Once predicted that once travel started ebbing and cities were starting to issue shelter in place orders, more travelers who needed to fly for business or family matters would need a safe, reliable flight option.

As a general rule, private jet charters offer more privacy and fewer inconveniences compared to commercial flights. This remains just as true now as it did pre-pandemic. Now, more people are seeing the health and safety benefits of flying private because it significantly limits their exposure to others and they can travel with greater confidence and have a greater chance of staying COVID-19-free.

We continue to earn the trust of our customers by providing a clean, safe flight you can depend on.

Cleaning Every Aircraft to Stay COVID-19-Free

We carefully vet every private jet operator that we work with and can confidently say that each of our partners takes the cleanliness of their aircraft very seriously. But we also know that a clean appearance isn’t enough during the pandemic, which is why we’ve implemented the following for every flight:

Every aircraft is undergoing additional cleanings and sanitization between flights. These cleanings align with rules set forth by the CDC, including:

●     Enhanced cleanings of porous surfaces, such as seats, seat belts, carpets, and other soft surfaces.

●     Enhanced cleanings of all non-porous (hard) surfaces, such as armrests, tables, cup holders, headrests, buttons, handles, controls, video screens, and bulkheads.

●     Additional cleanings of lavatories, including door handles, light switches, toilet seats, and faucet handles.

●      Disposal of items that cannot be cleaned, such as safety placards, pillows, and single-use items.

In addition, cleaning crew members are required to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning procedures to avoid potential cross-contamination.

Keeping Crew Members & Passengers Safe

Access Jet Group is equally focused on the health and safety of the crew members who serve our customers. We’ve implemented several new measures and practices before and during your flight that will allow us to maintain our high standard for quality.

First, we’re looking at the changing landscape of the coronavirus pandemic from a by-the-minute perspective. As travel restrictions continue to change around the world, we’re staying in tune with these shifts to ensure we’re aware of specific restrictions or requirements, as well as the impact of the pandemic in the area to which you’re traveling. This not only prevents you from facing last-minute travel changes, but also mitigates any negative impact on air traffic control, crew members, and ground terminals.

We’re also increasing our efforts to ensure crew members are operating in compliance with federal obligations. Crews are taking every precaution to remain free of COVID-19 and are ensuring each aircraft is properly sanitized between flights and at the beginning and end of each day.

Last but not least, all passengers and crew members are subject to screening procedures prior to boarding the aircraft. This includes but isn’t limited to:

●     Having your temperature checked

●     Answering screening questions regarding symptoms or potential exposure to the virus

●     Ensuring passengers and crew maintain a six-foot distance while passing through security or boarding the aircraft
