In life, we all have various priorities such as education, career, job, and relationships with friends and family. However, amidst the hustle of managing these aspects, we often overlook the most critical factor – our health. In the chessboard of life, our health is like the king. Where the king holds utmost significance, our health plays a similarly pivotal role in the grand scheme of our lives. Much like protecting the king in chess is non-negotiable, prioritizing our health should be a top concern in our daily pursuits.
Recently, I had the golden opportunity to attend an offline meeting with Neeki Ma'am. Despite the excitement and anticipation, my body had different plans. I spent the whole preceding week meeting deadlines for articles alongside juggling my college assignments and presentations, forgetting to take care of my health. Regrettably, I neglected the very thing that should have been my priority – my health. The day before the meeting, as I lay in bed, it became evident that attending the meeting was beyond my physical capacity. It was the price I had to pay for not putting my health first.
Although I missed the chance to be physically present at the meeting, hearing my friends talk about it and reading their wonderful articles made me feel like I was there, as if I had witnessed the event myself. The realization dawned upon me that even without physically being at the meeting, I had learned the most invaluable insight, the significance of prioritizing health in the grand chessboard of life. This experience served as a profound lesson in life – health is indeed wealth.
