Prioritizing Mental Health at Partners Personnel: Our Commitment on World Mental Health Day

This October, we’re celebrating both World Mental Health Day and a significant milestone—three years since the start of our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Unity (DEIU) Call Initiatives. These calls have provided a safe space for colleagues to engage in meaningful conversations about mental health awareness, disability inclusion, and more.

This year’s World Mental Health Day theme is “It is Time to Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace.” At Partners Personnel, we’re proud to integrate various initiatives that foster positive mental health among our teams.

We had the pleasure of hearing from Devin Wright, our CEO’s Executive Assistant, on our October 4th DEIU call to emphasized the importance of taking actionable steps to support mental health in the workplace.

At Partners Personnel, we’re already taking strides to make a difference. Here are just a few ways we’re making an impact:

  • Wellness Challenges: From physical fitness programs like Run Partners Run to overall wellness, we encourage healthy habits across the company.
  • Open Communication: Through our DEIU calls and Interfaith Networking calls, we create safe spaces for open dialogue on mental health and other important topics.
  • Plus 1: Colleagues from different departments come together to meet weekly, engage, and read books! This month’s book is “Predictable Success” by Les McKeown, focusing on sustainable growth.
  • Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs): We offer confidential, no-cost support services to all employees, providing access to counseling, mental health resources, and more.
  • Company-Wide Surveys: We listen to our teams by conducting regular surveys to understand their needs and concerns, ensuring we continue to foster a supportive workplace environment.

At Partners Personnel, mental health isn’t just a priority on World Mental Health Day—it’s something we care about every day.

We know everyone’s journey is different, and we invite you to share what’s helped you along the way. Your story might inspire someone else. Let’s come together to support one another and normalize asking for help and talking about mental health in the workplace.
