Totally agree: decide quickly and over time it will proove good (if you are not taking bad calls all the time), decisiveness pays versus taking too long time to decide. In my friend language : decide , act, ask for permission later !

I appreciate the insight and believe that "courage" is indeed the operative word. Many organizations struggle with this due to 1) Being structured and established in what they already; 2) Being regulated such that truly innovative business models or adjustments are not allowed (this would include a culture of top-down control); and 3) Lacking any sort of organizational construct to enable innovation to flourish.

Leaders have to be also open and honest with their teams. This behaviour will help a lot in "courage, willingness and actions".
