Mental Health Month has ended but we need to keep the conversation going. We all need to prioritise our wellbeing, October highlights this but looking after our mental health is something we should make a conscious effort to do all year round.
A new national survey by Mental Health Ireland has revealed that 90% of people do something to support their mental health every week but only 10% of people will do something every day. The most common obstacles to prioritising daily mental health are lack of time (32%) and money (31%). 13% said it's not something that is done in their social circles. The survey also highlighted that people are looking for support in managing stress and anxiety and that 52% of 24-34 year olds want help in understanding mental health.
Prioritising Mental Health & Wellbeing in the Workplace
Prioritising mental health & wellbeing in the workplace can have huge benefits for both employees and the organisation itself. It can normalise mental health conversations, encourage a healthy work/life balance, reduce stress as well as building a positive , productive and resilient work environment.
We facilitated a series of mental health and wellbeing workshops, both in person and online, throughout the month of October focusing on this years World Mental Health Day theme "It's time to prioritise mental health in the work place". We have a range of workshops and programmes that offer comprehensive support, a tailored wellbeing approach that addresses specific concerns and interests and provides ongoing support and resources to enhance employees wellbeing journey.

November is all about Men's Health
Building on last months theme, we are prioritising mental health in the workplace with a special focus on men's health. International Men's Day is November 19th and aims to raise awareness about men's health and their achievements. Men are less likely to seek help for mental health concerns and sometimes might need more encouragement. Making small positive changes in our everyday lives can benefit our physical and mental health.
We offer a selection of workshops on Men's Mental Health to help your employees focus on their wellbeing.
