?

The Ethical Dilemma:

This technological progress raises critical ethical dilemmas that require careful consideration and discussion.:

  • Who controls the development of GAI? It's essential to be mindful that AI systems can inadvertently perpetuate existing biases or serve specific agendas due to biased training data or the influence of national interests. This can reinforce inequalities within the AI systems and the outcomes they produce.
  • Who is responsible for the actions of GAI? Who is held accountable if an AI system makes a mistake with potentially harmful consequences? I believe it is necessary to establish new legal frameworks to regulate General Artificial Intelligence (GAI) and explicitly outline the responsibility for the actions and behaviors of machines.
  • Do we need a global code of ethics for GAI? Establishing clear and comprehensive ethical guidelines for developing and deploying artificial intelligence (AI) is critically important. These guidelines are necessary to ensure that AI technologies are used responsibly and beneficially, considering ethical considerations such as transparency, fairness, accountability, and the well-being of individuals and society.
