So firstly before we dive into things, this is not going to be a post on how I think you should spend your time and what you should prioritise, rather I want to get you thinking..
When I first realised this it was quite eye opening.
And that's the fact that what you are doing right now, is currently your highest priority.
You have chosen to do that thing over anything else in the world.
So right now, you are prioritising reading this newsletter over anything else, so thank you!
But really though, let that thought sink in.
And remind yourself of this regularly when you catch yourself doing something that isn't aligned with your values and goals.
When scrolling your phone needlessly, think 'I could be preparing some good food just now'.
When snoozing your alarm 8 times, think 'I could be out a run right now'.
When sitting watching TV, think 'I could be playing a fun game with my kids right now'.
The list goes on.
If you become more aware of this, and start prioritising the things you know you should be prioritising, progress and growth is on it's way.
So as I say, I'm not here to tell you what to prioritise and how to spend your time, but if you increase your awareness of what you are doing on a daily basis, you will instantly start to make better use of time!
I hope this gets you thinking..
