Priorities - How to Have it All In Life

Today I want to talk about priorities


In life, there are some things that are abundant, like money, health, positivity, connection, love, people, life, and the ever-present moment


But there is one thing that is scarce in life: and that thing is time


While there is abundance in the ever-present moment


Each of us has a limited amount of time left to live


Each of us has exactly 24 hours in 1 day and 7 days in 1 week


And on average we each have about 80 years from birth until death


So the question then becomes:


If time is limited,


Then how are you going to use the limited time that you have?


I think we can all agree that there are a couple different categories of priorities that most people have:


Work

Fun

Health/fitness

Personal time

Time with loved ones

Time for adventure

Time for meeting new people

Spirituality/meditation

Art/expression

Etc.


But how we divide that up depends on who we are and what our priorities are


If your life’s purpose is to scale your business as much as possible and completely dominate


90% of your time will be devoted to business, possibly at the expense of the other priorities on the list - which is why a lot of career driven professionals and entrepreneurs find themselves out of shape at some point in their lives (like me in 2018 or any other time I’ve become obsessed with business)


Likewise - somebody who spends all their time in the gym might be broke and have their relationships/social life in shambles


And likewise somebody who spends all their time with their significant other or meeting new people… might end up getting a little out of shape and financially broke


So then it’s all about balance and creating the perfect balance for YOU


The perfect balance for the results that YOU want


And the perfect balance, lifestyle, and results that make YOU happy


So I’d encourage you to specifically define:


The exact business/career that you want

The exact body/fitness/health/how many years you live that you want

The exact social life, relationships, etc. that you want


And then settle for nothing less than that


Plan out your life day to day to ensure you can reach those goals and results


Hire, barter with, or find/befriend mentors in any specific area that help you achieve and guarantee that goal


And don’t be mad if you fail, or if it takes you a year, 2 years, 3 years, 10


You only have one life to live so keep going UNTIL


UNTIL you make it


UNTIL you reach your goals and dreams


And keep going, no matter how many times you fail


While our lifetimes are limited


Our life is all one big experiment


So keep experimenting until you figure it out


Whether you figure it out at age 18 or age 80, the important thing is that you keep trying, keep going, and never give up until you figure it out and until you make it


That, my friends, is what we call reaching your full potential and purpose


Your full potential and purpose in life.
