Principle Civil /Structural Design Engineer – North West

My client provides an incredible range of design and engineering consultancy services. They specialise in complex infrastructure, process and built environments across the full project life cycle, disciplines range from initial architecture to civil and structural, building services, specialist high voltage and process engineering services, programme management and CDM consultancy.

They are seeking a Principle Civil & Structural Engineer where you will be reporting to the Associate Director, leading large C&S project teams or a number or smaller teams.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of C&S project teams
• Ensure team compliance with company management system
• Contribute to wider development of C&S department capabilities
• Lead C&S design delivery across large single projects or multiple smaller projects, in single- or multi- discipline teams
• Implement ‘Perfect Delivery’
• Report on project performance to Associate Director
• Tender preparation for projects of all sizes, including fee estimates
• Mentor, train and develop junior engineers
• Support individuals to maximise performance

Skills & Experience

• Chartered Civil/ Structural Engineer CEng MICE/ MIStructE
• CSCS Card
• SC clearance
• Conversant with current C&S design codes & standards
• Experienced in discharging responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations
