Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle name StreetGames as royal wedding beneficiary!

StreetGames is honoured to be one of the seven charities chosen to benefit from donations made to mark the wedding of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle. The couple have asked that anyone who wishes to send a wedding gift, instead considers donating to a shortlist of charities personally chosen by the couple to support work in areas where the couple have a particular interest.

This generous gesture represents the second time that the couple have shown their support for StreetGames, after their visit to an Us Girls Wales showcase in Cardiff this January. Prince Harry has a long-standing association with StreetGames, having previously visited events showcasing Doorstep Sport, Us Girls Wales and the Fit and Fed campaign.

The Prince's involvement first began with a visit to the Nottingham-based Doorstep Sport club 'STOP' in 2016. This was followed up by visits to a joint RFU/ StreetGames project in Stockport, a Fit and Fed event in Newham, and most recently in February, a second Fit and Fed project in Brent.
