PrimoCargo ( German PCN member ) been nominated again for the next shipment of 4 x diesel engines

PrimoCargo has been contracted by Germany based world leading manucturer of large-bore diesel engines to transport in total 4 diesel engines consisting of

2 x 7.250 x 3.150 x 4.200 mm ( LxWxH ) with each 80 tons

and

2 x 7.900 x 2.600 x 4.550 mm ( LxWxH ) with each 63,5 tons.

The 4 engines have been loaden at 2 different loading places by 1 barge for further shipment via the rhine-river to Port of loading NL-Schiedam.

The challenge during this transport was the extrem low-water lever at the rhine-river during the pre-carriage by barge ! By choosing the correct type of barge PrimoCargo was able to deliver all 4 engines intime for closing of the on-going ocean vessel.

At NL-Schiedam all engines have been handled via quay by shore crane into a coaster vessel for final destination to some shipyard located in Italy.
