Priming in UX process

While priming can undoubtedly enhance user interactions and perceptions, let us look at how priming is a potential pitfall in UX processes.

And this comes from a personal experience every time I have a design review with the whole team. When one (or two) folks suggest a specific change in design, I notice that the entire team chimes in to reassert or essentially modify the same input in a different way and presents it as a unique finding. While what I notice when I reach out to these same team members individually for their inputs, when no one can prime their thoughts on the design, I actually get varied and very valid, quality feedback that helps me craft better experiences.

The design journey is a collaborative one, where every decision carries the potential to shape user perceptions and actions. I believe the more diverse the feedback, the better the end result. Here's to creating experiences that truly resonate and inspire.
