PRIMETIME Sports kicked off its summer tour on June 15th in Salt Lake City, Utah with a match between Chivas de Guadalajara and Santos Laguna in front of 15,772 passionate fans. Prior to the game, more than 500 fans enjoyed activations from Takis, Tecate, and Telemundo Utah, among others. A special appearance was made by Chivas de Guadalajara legend, Adolfo "Bofo'' Bautista, who signed autographs and took pictures with his fans. The majestic Wasatch Mountains adorned the backdrop as Rio Tinto Stadium witnessed Chivas win the thrilling match 3 to 1. The game was broadcast on three different networks: ESPN Deportes in the U.S. and Canada, TUDN in Mexico, and the Latin America broadcast was on STAR+.?

The second stop of the tour was Chicago, IL for PretemporadaMX, a two-day, two-game weekend with two Liga MX Derbies at SeatGeek Stadium. For Saturday’s game, recording artist and actor Pablo Montero sang the Mexican national anthem in front of 16,425 fans prior to the Clásico Tapatío between Guadalajara rivals, Chivas and Atlas. The game saw current champion Atlas impose its will by defeating Chivas 1-0.

On Sunday, the Clásico Capitalino between Club América and Pumas was played in front of 19,583 enthusiastic fans on Father’s Day. Grammy-nominated Leonardo Aguilar sang the Mexican national anthem to kick-off the event. Pumas won the Mexico City derby with a convincing 3 to 1 score. Clásico Tapatío was broadcast on Fox Deportes in the U.S. and on TUDN in Mexico, while Clásico Capitalino was broadcast in both U.S. and Mexico on the TUDN network. Both games garnered more than 303,000 impressions P2+.

The Fan Fest before each PretemporadaMX game had an attendance of around 2,000 people and consisted of a championship trophy, team mascots, and sponsors; including, Tampico, Electrolit, Tecate, Carnicerías Jiménez, GEICO, and AT&T. For the Saturday game, Adolfo "Bofo" Bautista was once again the Chivas de Guadalajara legend mingling with Chivas fans while Alberto García Aspe, a former Club América legend, did so with his fans on Sunday.?

The last stop on PRIMETIME Sports’ summer tour was San Jose, California with a game at PayPal Park between Club América and Club León in front of 15,221 fans. The final game of the tour attracted approximately 400+ people to the fan fest with a live band, DJ, Agui the mascot, championship trophy, and an appearance by Club América legend Braulio Luna. Golden State Warriors world champion, Juan Toscano, was in charge of the coin toss prior to kick off. Club América defeated Club León with a commanding 5-2 victory. The game was broadcast live on TUDN in both the U.S. and Mexico and generated 185,000 impressions P2+.

After a successful summer tour, PRIMETIME Sports is now turning its focus to continue working with AT&T and its sponsorship of the Mexican National Team. PRIMETIME Sports is also excited to bring the Súper Clásico between Club América and Chivas de Guadalajara this September to Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
