Prime The LinkedIn? Algorithm to Suggest Your Ideal Clients

Hi Friend,?

It happens to everyone.

The same people pop up in our LinkedIn? feed every day - and not the ones we’re looking to engage with.

When this happens, it makes it 10x harder to get your lead gen activities done daily.

So what can you do?

Thankfully, it’s simple to freshen up your LinkedIn? feed.? Doing these four things consistently will ensure that your feed is filled with what you want to see - your ideal clients!

1. Add Ideal Clients to Your Network Every Day.

When we connect with ideal clients and add them to our network - that fresh connection ensures that they will see your content.??

Here’s the kicker - if they don’t engage with your content and get added to more networks, they will stop seeing your content as often.? 2. Engage ONLY With What You Want to See.

I know it’s tempting to like our friends’ posts and give them our support, but every like that you give out ensures that you will continue to see their content in your feed.??

If that’s OK with you - continue.? But if you’re on LinkedIn? for business purposes - we recommend engaging ONLY with your ideal clients.? This includes pausing/reading posts, liking, sharing, and commenting - all of those things should be reserved for ideal clients only.

3. Send DM’s.

Chances are, you’ve likely been spammed by cold salespeople on LinkedIn?, leaving you a little unsure of what to say in a DM or if you should even use them at all.

Sending DMs is a critical component of raising your SSI Score - the higher your score, the more LinkedIn? shows your content and you appear in searches.??

We recommend that you send DMs daily.? The important thing to remember is that you should be trying to create conversation in the DMs - not moving to the sale right out of the gate.? Yes, it can take a little back and forth - but that’s called nurturing, and it’s essential to build trust with your audience.??

4. Scour Your Connections List and Take Action.

Head over to your Connections List (this is located on your My Network page).??

Go through this list often and click on the profiles of your ideal clients.? From there, engage with their content or send them a DM.

Doing this will put their activity back into your feed.??

It’s entirely possible to refresh your LinkedIn? feed - it just takes a little work.? Remember the golden rule - engage only with what you want to see and LinkedIn? will start bringing and suggesting ideal clients right to you!
