In March 2024, Prifina advanced the deployment of its proprietary Pri-AI solution, enhancing collaboration with partners to develop personalized "AI Buddies" tailored for consumers. Our efforts led to broader engagement across the sports, wellness, health, longevity, and fashion sectors. Team members from Prifina shared insights at multiple forums in San Francisco and Europe, discussing the integration of Prifina’s human-centric approach to personal data across diverse industries.

Prifina’s AI Buddies: A New Era of Interactions with Your Own Data

At Prifina, we have always envisioned a world where AI serves each individual uniquely. We have now made significant strides in making this vision a reality by making it incredibly efficient to create and run AI Buddies personalized with your own data, thanks to Prifina’s bespoke Pri-AI technology.

"AI Buddies" are AI assistants that you can fully control. These Buddies learn about you through your interactions and self-reflection, gaining expertise from a dynamic knowledge base that you can manage and update. You can empower your AI Buddies with your personal data for private interactions. Ultimately, your AI Buddies act on your behalf, making your digital life more personalized and efficient.

As we introduce the "AI Buddies" feature, we are eager to collaborate with companies, developers, and influencers across various sectors, including fitness, health, lifestyle, longevity, and aging. If you possess expertise in any of these areas, we invite you to partner with us. Together, we can create an AI Buddy that benefits our combined communities.

Conference Recap: Living with Personal AI Agents

On March 15th, a Friday, the Prifina team, in collaboration with our academic partners, hosted the international conference "Living with Personal AI Agents: Challenges, Risks, Opportunities."

The conference was held in the historic Aula Parva Hall at Vilnius University (Lithuania), and welcomed thought leaders from five continents: Europe, the United States, Australia, Japan, and South Africa.

During the conference, technology experts examined the practical applications of AI Agents across various sectors, including the public sector (e.g., courts and law enforcement), education, financial technologies, and consumer applications.

Legal professionals and leading academics delved into the associated risks and discussed desirable regulatory frameworks to maximize the opportunities presented by Personal AI.

Additionally, an interdisciplinary panel featuring futurist Monika Bielskyte and a gen-AI artist Davey Whitcraft engaged in a forward-thinking discussion on the importance of looking beyond technology and policy in the development of Personal AI applications for individuals.

Aging 2.0 Event Recap

How can we leverage data and AI to extend lifespans and enrich the quality of life?

On March 28, 2024, Prifina was honored to participate in a panel discussion alongside leading global experts in the at-home care services industry. Prifina’s CEO, Markus Lampinen , showcased our human-centric approach to data and shared compelling results from using conversational AI to monitor behavioral changes in our elderly loved ones.

The event sparked a vibrant discussion, during which the current care services market was characterized as fragmented and disappointingly inefficient. Instead of attempting to "boil the ocean with the elephant" — a metaphor for tackling an overwhelmingly large problem in an overly complex way — the participants unanimously agreed on the need to form a working alliance.

This alliance aims to devise and implement a system-level strategy to steer the care industry toward a collaborative and prosperous future.

At Prifina, we are thrilled about the opportunity to collaborate with leaders in the care services industry. We are grateful to Stephen Johnston , Mick Fitzgerald , Aging2.0 and the Institute on Aging to inviting us to join this important endeavour.

Prifina’s Pulse: March 2023?

• Valto Loikkanen gave a keynote presentation at Cyber Security Conference in Helsinki where he explored the impact of federated personal data ecosystem and the intersection betwee data privacy and AI. He also invited conference attendees to interact with his personal “Valto AI” even before the Q&A session. You can try it out as well!
• Paul Jurcys, PhD was invited to a panel discussion at Vilnius Tech University where he introduced the forthcoming book “The Creativity Machine” and discussed with other panelists the future where each individual has his/her personal AI buddies.?
• The Prifina team was also invited to participate in in a panel discussion with city leaders, and AI community members about the future of San Francisco and discuss the ways how data and AI could be leveraged to to improve smart city solutions in San Francisco-Bay Area.
