Prideful loser or humble winner?

Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace,?but with the humble is wisdom.

How often do we let pride win and then we lose? This happens when we 'have to be right' which always turns out so wrong. With pride, we need to show we are more knowledgeable on a topic, only to push people away with our arrogance. We pridefully choose not to serve others because it's 'beneath us' and people suffer for our pride. When we let pride win, someone loses. But when we are humble, we let our guard down, we become open, and we seek to serve. We don't find the need to battle but listen. We don't need to show off our knowledge but share it when appropriate. And we become a person with a servant's heart to help no matter what. Don't be a prideful loser... be a humble winner and have a blessed day!
