Pride Month May Be Almost Over, But Your Kids Still Need You To Celebrate

For over 20 years now, the month of June has been officially recognized as Pride Month for the LGBTQ+ community. But the celebrations actually began decades before that, after the 1969 Stonewall riots inspired a Gay Pride March the following year. Since that time, June has always held special significance for members off the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.
But just because June is coming to an end, doesn’t mean parents should stop acknowledging and celebrating the LGBTQ+ experience.
