Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Liontrust

International Women’s Day 2024

International Women's Day 2025 is a global day celebrating social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. This year, Liontrust’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee has planned events to enable colleagues to celebrate this year’s theme, #InspireInclusion, and to acknowledge the excellence of all the women at the company throughout the month of March. Earlier this month, we hosted our first social event to celebrate IWD 2024, and later this month colleagues will come together to listen to a panel discussion featuring women from across the business who will share their perspectives on this year’s theme.

Continuing our celebration of the theme #InspireInclusion, Liontrust has donated a piece of artwork named Bright Eyes by Mary Osinibi to Paintings in Hospitals , a charity that supports this principle. Their collection represents over 2,000 artists and they pride themselves on the diversity of their collection. Most of their collection is made up of works by women artists.

Thanks to Paintings in Hospitals, Mary’s piece will be displayed in a new installation celebrating women and diversity in art at the University College Hospital, London. Their loan programme enables health and community care organisations to display artworks that brighten clinical environments and inspire better health for patients and carers, with an estimated 2 million people benefiting from these exhibited works annually.

Collectively, we can all #InspireInclusion.
