Community Engagement & Sponsorships

An update on our partnership with 10ticks

Raising financial awareness and literacy throughout society is one key objective of the Liontrust community engagement program, and for the last four years we have partnered with 10ticks to achieve this.

Through 10ticks, Liontrust delivers worksheets and digital maths education to primary and secondary schools across the UK completely free of charge to UK state-funded schools. From challenging classmates online to playing live games across the globe, these stimulating activities are designed to engage pupils. We are proud to have supported the thousands of teachers who have taken advantage of this to incorporate 10ticks into their teaching of maths for fun and engaging lessons.

Each year Liontrust sponsors the 10ticks Mental Maths competition and we would like to congratulate all of the pupils at The Grosvenor Park CofE Academy of Chester who took part in the recent competition. The students answered an outstanding 58,043 questions throughout the competition to secure the top prize for the second consecutive year.

Liontrust Chief Marketing Officer, Simon Hildrey said: “It is wonderful to see how committed the schools and their pupils were to the 10ticks Mental Maths competition. Maths and financial literacy are indispensable everyday skills and key to learn before the age of 18. We send our congratulations to all the pupils who took part.”
