Happy Tuesday!
How often do you accomplish something and immediately move on to the next goal?
Accomplishments have been top of mind recently. In a closed group Hispanic/Latinx session within?CHIEF?to celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, I gathered with other executive-level Latinx/a/e women. A few takeaways struck and I share them with you here for you to sit with:
We'll be digging into accomplishments and the art of self-promotion in an upcoming?Untapped Leaders session?with Priya Sodha, M.S., (she/her) of?Innergem. You can register?here.
Thanks for being here.

Write.
An opportunity to dig into what we might be missing in our leadership.
What is a significant accomplishment you've achieved in the past year/month/week? What did it require of you to get there? How can you let others know about that journey?
What is a micro-accomplishment you achieved today? What did it require of you to get there? How can you let others know about that journey?
Wonder.
An opportunity to reimagine deeply embedded leadership structures and practices.
What do you need from your colleagues, friends, and work environments to feel comfortable naming and amplifying your accomplishments?
If you've felt friction or a moment of discomfort when you've witness someone else accomplish something that you are striving for, what do you attribute that to? What action can you take to alleviate that discomfort?
Witness.
An opportunity to learn from overlooked perspectives.
This month, we're amplifying the experiences and leadership expertise of Latinx/a/o leaders.
"The fact that I am an immigrant working with undocumented and immigrant families has allowed me to help them more and to be able to understand their struggles. I understand how hard it is sometimes to accomplish a small goal. At the same time, I bring awareness of how undocumented and documented families are different and have different difficulties so we cannot ask or expect the same or even treat everyone the same. Look at situations with an equity lens and not an equality one."
