We have just completed on the sale of the above property in a wonderful rural setting close to Alresford. The house is needing updating, but offers great space and sits within over 4 acres of land; and our very happy new owners can't wait to get started to refurbish and create what I am sure will be a great family home!
Nothing unusual there, but the way the sale went is certainly worth hearing about! Guiding at £1,100,000, we launched the house to the market and instantly were barraged with viewings and interest. Indeed, we actually had a guide price offer on day 1. After 35 viewings in two weeks, we went to best bids with 5 parties and needless to say the end result was a very happy client and a sale in excess of the guide.
This in my view is a classic example of how correct pricing gets the best result. The market has provided us with challenges recently, but there is no doubt that if a house is put to the market and the guide is realistic, then you will achieve a successful outcome in a short space of time.
