Price is not everything

Had a call today from a contractor and wanted to know why we don't have larger PanStands for full size laundry. He is remodeling a old building and wanted to update it to attract younger clients. (He will be paying the water bills.) The renters he is hoping to get do not need large washers but want in-unit laundry.

I explained 24-inch front load laundry washers wash the same as the older top load washers as there is no agitator and use a considerable less amount of water and spin at a much higher speed so the drying time is less than older models. He asked why don't sales pitch 24-inch and I said price. The added money spent would be made up with the saving of water bills in the future and he would need less space.

He asked what models do I recommend and I said there are a lot of brands out there and most will do a good job. He hung up after that and his number was blocked.
